• Nomadic societies developed in Eurasia by adapting to the arid climate and harsh land

  • Oases in some areas permitted agriculture but overall most of the settlers in the area had to live off the animals. The land in the nomadic area was perfect for animals to live and graze.

  • The nomadic people's diet consisted of mostly of meat,milk, and the hides from the animals. In adittion they used the bones from the animals to make tools and weapons. They used almost every part

  • Nomads greatly sought opportunities to trade with other peoples. Was mostly small-scale but were involved in larg distance trade.

  • Nomadic societies consisted into two social classes, the commoners and the nobles. Nobles did little governing basically because the tribes looked out for themselves and resented their interference.

  • During War nobles had absolute power during war and dealt swifty towards people that did not obey them. Nobles would lose their power if they were not ruing correctly and efficiently. Commoners could gain recognition as a noble by outstanding conduct and couragous behavior.
